Terribly Happy
We live in a world increasingly addicted to technology, leading to a more isolated and disconnected way of life. This dependence weakens interpersonal interactions, which are essential for developing human and social skills.
In the "Terribly Happy" project, we challenge this path by presenting an extreme scenario of a birthday celebration where all attention comes from non-human figures. The party centers around the celebrant, with a series of robots performing all the joyful actions typically associated with birthdays.
Our aim is to explore and critique the growing integration of technology into deeply personal human experiences. We question the traditional need for human presence and examine how technology influences social interactions and emotional connections. The project raises important questions about the future of human relationships versus the relentless advancement of technology.
